On
April 16, 2003, GYNECARE Worldwide, a division of Ethicon,
Inc., a Johnson and Johnson company, announced an urgent global
market withdrawal of GYNECARE INTERGEL, an adhesion prevention
solution used in gynecological surgeries to reduce post-surgical
adhesions. The product withdrawal is the result of reports
of post-operative pain, non-infectious foreign body reactions
and tissue adherence. Many patients had to endure repeat surgeries.
Our firm represents a patient who suffered these injuries
following a surgery in which GYNECARE INTERGEL was used.
If
you or someone you know underwent gynecological surgery between
1998-2003 in which GYNECARE INTERGEL was used and suffered
these or other post-surgical complications or injuries, you
may be entitled to compensation. You can contact our firm
